Updates and ............

We finished the dining room/pub area. Jim put up cedar boards on the bottom half of the wall, put up a new window sill, and put in a door between the main part of the house and the mud room. The kitchen is almost finished. He sealed and polished the floor, finished tiling, and put up a new window sill. All that's left is mop boards, touch up painting, and building the pantry.

In other news......... what's a country home without a pup? At this point in time, her name is Charlie - subject to change until the name "settles." Buddy's not to happy about the new addition, but hopefully he'll come around with very little blood shed. Charlie is a Blue Heeler, or Australian Cattle Dog. We've always known them as Blue Heeler's, but the dog books call them Australian Cattle Dogs. She's only seven weeks old, so all she does at this point is sleeps, eats, and poops, with a little play time thrown in for good measure.
